The original Board of Directors consisted of many of the driving forces behind The Shelter: Ruth VanBeek, Anna Marie Gaffney, Ben Thomas, Hank Braedel, Loren Longmore, Harold Maloney, Letah Cohen, Jeanne Fischer and Bette Anderson.
